Vanguard was approached to facilitate and manage the full installation of the new Line 1 Bottling Line at Heineken, Sedibeng in Gauteng.
Vanguard has for over 30 years been the premier company for the installation of bottling lines in Africa. To this end Vanguard is equipped with a fleet of project specific equipment that allow the offloading, relocation and installation of bottling lines in the most efficient manner possible. The entire project including all offloading, destuffing, relocation and final positioning of the machinery was completed in impressive time despite enormous delays in shipping.
As a result of these delays, the Bottle Washer arrived late and needed to be stood up with a meagre tolerance and in very tight confines. Vanguard was able to this without a hitch owing to the two indispensable Versa Lift 30-ton Boom Trucks and the presence of our truck mounted crane. Further to this, due to the nimble nature of the 16-ton Ormig Pick & Carry crane, Vanguard was able to install and position all machinery without having to shut down any production. This project was a true testament to the proper utilisation of applicable equipment to ensure the project is completed within in budget and ahead of time.
