Vanguard operates the largest privately owned fleet of modular trailers and prime movers, and is regarded as the premier heavy lift and transport company in its field. The company specialises in the long-haul transport of ultra-heavy cargo and provides this service across borders and throughout industries.

 

Supported by the in-house Engineering and Planning Department, Vanguard is unique in its ability to safely move ultra-heavy cargo throughout the African continent.

In a recent project that took place in South Africa, Vanguard’s Transport Department was responsible for moving one of the largest loads ever through the Western Cape.

Vanguard is the first company in South Africa to invest in self-propelled modular trailers. With this investment, our fleet of on-site relocation equipment has gone from strength to strength. Our industry leading trailer technicians and fully fledged fabrication facility equip Vanguard to modify and configure modular trailer combinations, specifically meeting individual project specifications. Supported by the Engineering Department and the pre-planning team, every minute detail is planned and orchestrated with precision.
